RAWALPINDI: An independent candidate for the Punjab Assembly, Chaudhry Adnan, was shot dead by unknown motorcyclists in Rawalpindi on Monday.
According to the police, the incident took place in the Jhanda Chichi area when Adnan was fired upon by two assailants on a motorcycle and died on the spot.
